Celeb summer fling update: 3 couples split, 1 ring purchased, 1 romance rekindled
Last week we blogged about celeb
summer flings and which we suspected would last past labor day and by the looks of things our predictions were off—three couples have already broken up! Drew Barrymore plows through yet another relationship, ending things with Mac guy, Justin Long. Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have split blaming intense media spotlight for their break up (really? We thought they were pretty low profile) and Brits Kate Moss and Jamie Hince have also partied ways despite reports they were engaged.
In brighter news, Lily Allen and Chemical Brother Ed Simons are back together and have updated their Facebook profiles to show they are “in a relationship” with each other while Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are growing increasingly closer. To celebrate Lindsay’s 22nd birthday, Sam spent $22,000 for a Cartier diamond ring "It's not an engagement ring - simply a token of her commitment," says a source.
Is it just us or do celeb couples have the shelf life of a bag of ice left out in the summer heat? [

Who is Samantha Ronson? Seriously. I'm just wondering where a woman who apparently can't figure out a shower gets $22,000. Family money? Lawsuit? Successful panhandling operation on an off ramp from the expressway? I just want to know.
