5 Jarred Foods We Can't Live Without

We pop open the lid on our favorite (bottled) pantry items, and dish on how we love to use 'em.

PEANUT BUTTER
Think outside the sandwich. Whisk warm peanut butter with lime juice and pour over noodles, mix a tablespoon into coleslaw or stir into a yogurt smoothie for instant protein and flavor.

TOMATILLO SALSA
This tangy condiment is as bright in taste as it is in color. Drizzle it over scrambled eggs and wrap in a flour-tortilla for an out-of-sight breakfast. Other options: Give it new life as a marinade for grilled steak or fish sticks.

OLIVE TAPENADE
When we crave the briny zing of olives, but aren’t in the mood for a pitting-and-chopping orgy, we reach for this reliable fella. Toss it in pasta, sprinkle it on pizza or whisk it into a Mediterranean-style salad dressing.

RASPBERRY JAM
It's not just for breakfast. Dissolve a spoonful into a tall, cold glass of lemonade or iced tea. Or season with hot sauce and baste a thin coat into meatloaf for a sweet-and-spicy crust.

BLUE CHEESE DRESSING
Ooh! Mayonnaise is going to be so jealous. Spread the refrigerated dressing onto a roast beef sandwich or stir it into potato salad.

I always have mascarpone chees on hand because if giada de laurentis shows teaching me endless yummy uses and recipes for it-i already have my faovorites! it makes a great quick creamy sause for ground turkey fried first, with shallots, herbs n spices, mixed with canellini beans and pasta! Yum! Its sooo filling because of the beans in the colder months and men love it because of its heaviness! Its really quick too!
