6 Skinny Cheeses That Taste Creamy

Determined to lose a few pounds but already feeling cranky and deprived? Take a cheese break. There’s nothing like cheese to make you feel like you’re not on a diet. And there are lots of low-fat varieties -- they’re just not all worth eating. But these 6 are. We know. The RealAge staff taste-tested dozens to find them. What’s more, there’s evidence that the calcium, protein, and other goodies in low-fat cheese (and other low-fat dairy foods) can actually help you lose weight, nourish your bones, lower your blood pressure, and reduce your risk of diabetes. End of bad mood, beginning of new body!

Sargento Reduced Fat Provolone This mild Italian favorite maintains a nice buttery taste with a minimal amount of fat.

Laughing Cow cheese wedges are great too!! If you are on WW, they are only 1 point! The garlic herb is my favorite with some whole wheat crackers.

What an ignorant headline the author put in the article.. re: 'cheese will make you lose weight' !??

Having Cheese in a diet is not what will make someone lose weight -its the person being aware of their nutritional intake. Isn't there an editor looking at these 'writers' mis-guidance?

I exercise a lot when cleaning or doing the washin with samba music that makes you dance, i have done this since i was 23 and i am 42 now and a spring chicken. Everyone thinks i go to gym, No i do not, thank you to my children who are always teaching me the latest moves and we do have a lot of fun too. We really look forward to weekends. So ladies out there try it you may never know. Juliet

Boursin Light, 40 calories for 2/3 of a teaspoon???? That's about the size of two peas.

I am starting NutraSystems next week and am glad for the reminder. I did South Beach until my husband got sick and I had to cook special for him and it worked great up until then. I liked the mozzarella sticks from Costco, great price, portioned just right and you can cook with them too. Good luck and happiness to you all!!
