Busy, busy, busy

user

Since the start of the holiday season I've been extremely busy as I'm sure most people have been. So busy that I've slacked off from writing in my Shine blog... I still love Shine and come here every day to read other people's blogs and occassionally I leave comments, but most of my writing time is spent on my other sites.

Shine isn't the only site I've been neglecting. I rarely post in my MySpace blog anymore. Only when I have some personal issue that I for some unknown reason have decided needs to be splashed all over the internet...Ok, so that was a little sarcastic but really that's all I ever seem to write in my MySpace blog.

My Crazy Life blog is skipping along merrily. I still add to it every day. The same goes for my Happy At Home blog. I have however thrown myself into a new project that I'd like to tell you about.

I've created an online cookbook, The Eat Food NOT Money Cookbook. It's really shaping up nicely. I've had recipes submitted from several people already. If you'd like to submit a recipe, I'd be more than happy to use it in my cookbook.

There are very few requirements for my cookbook, but there are the following two:

1. They must be easy to prepare and
2. They must be inexpensive

If you'd like to submit a recipe, please send me the following information:

1. A complete, easy to understand recipe with all measurements (if you cook like I do and just kind of throw things together or don't know the precise measurements, just use measurements such as dash or a handful)

2. An estimated cost to prepare (if you don't know this I will be happy to do the research for you)

3. The name of your recipe

4. The name of the cook or person who submitted the recipe as you would like it to appear in my cookbook

Send your recipes to mommacow39@yahoo.com and please include "Blog Recipes" in the subject line so I don't accidently delete your prize recipe!

I'm very happy with the way the cookbook is turning out but I need a ton more recipes so everyone send me one please!

Happy Holidays!

And Happy Cooking!

Despite what all the experts say, buying wine will always be a daunting task. Nothing beats good old fashioned wine knowledge but I've got a couple of tips for selecting imported wines that may help you.
