Crockpot Chicken and Mushrooms
I love using my crockpot to cook when I am in a hurry. This dish is tasty and cooks all day in your crockpot. Makes the kitchen smell good too.
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
pepper
lemon pepper
paprika
1 cup sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can of mushrooms or 8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
After removing the skin, sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, lemon pepper,
and paprika, then place in the crockpot.
Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken pieces.
Cook on low 6-8 hours. Serve over rice or egg noodles.

I love my crock pot too and have done a similar receipe for years. I hit the chicken heavy with the paprika but havenlt tried the lemon pepper on it great idea. I usually cut up celery and use cream of celery soup or cheese soup I mix it up. Alway white wine and often add the sour cream the last half hour before serving while cooking up some pasta to serve it over. Thanks for your post.

Thank you Southernbelle1270 for recipe on crockpot chicken & mushrooms, sounds delicious. but will exchange the chicken breasts, for skinless thighs & legs, as me & my hubby don't really care for the breasts, even though we know they are more healthy for you. THANKS AGAIN FOR GREAT RECIPE !!!!!!!!!!!

You are welcome Debbie D. I think that is great that you want to use legs and thighs. All of my recipes I make changes from the original. Most of my chicken recipes originally called for bone in chicken. I just find it easier to use boneless skinless chicken.
