When I was a kid growing up in England, the only whole pineapple we ever saw were on the tins of Dole Pineapple Chunks on the grocery store shelves. Fresh pineapple was definitely something exotic ....

The world has shrunk! WalMart selling fresh pineapple for $3 was too much for me to resist. I cannot believe I've never ,ever bought one before. Delicious!   I didn't do anything but eat it as fruit, didn't find any exotic recipes to add it to, but I might next time. I bought mango at the same time & my culinary delight was to mix pineapple, banana,,mango, Greek yoghurt & oatmeal. Delicious!

This recipe sounds pretty good - Pineapple, Mango & Pork Tenderloin, I'll try it next time.
