Frito salad

When I lived in Phoenix, we always had parties at my job where everyone brought in food. One of my co workers kept talking about how she was going to bring in the strangest thing I'd ever heard, something about Fritos with cheese and mayo. I just scoffed, and when she finally brought it in, I figured I'd have a go at it because, hey, I'll try (almost) anything once. Well, it was one of the best snacks I've ever tasted, and she said it was Frito Salad and told me what she put in it. I promptly forgot the ingredients, because I'm forgetful like that, and I could just ask her when I got ready to make it anyway. Well, that was four years ago, and I no longer live or work in Phoenix, and have lost touch with the co worker, and suddenly have a craving for it. I Googled some Frito Salad recipes, but they didn't sound like hers, because hers was so simple, yet so tasty! Does anyone have a good Frito Salad recipe, I'd love to hear any, thanks!

I don't know for sure, but I'm pretty sure you have a problem with pot. Only a pothead would be craving a Frito "Salad" for four years!

Here's a personal quiz that might help.

    If you're a pothead ...

    1. You enjoy watching daytime tv, especially the courtrooms shows

    2. You forgot how to spell the word "the" one day.

    3. You still live at your parents' house, and your 36.

    4. You are craving Frito Salad right this minute

If you've answered yes to at least two of the questions, you need intervention, buddy.

    Most concernedly,

JO, thanks for the recipe, and Iesha, thanks for the website.

Sharon, although I haved smoked pot, I no longer do so because of my husband's profession; I'd hate to get caught with anything illegal because it would reflect poorly on him and possibly cost him his job. Also, I haven't been craving it for 4 years, the craving just hit me a couple of weeks ago after 4 years. It's been 4 years since I left Phoenix (and incidentally 4 years since I last smoked pot). But, your quiz was cute, lol!

Hello, i knew about the salt, but forgot about Mrs. Dash. I love it and used to use it. It is strange that his blood pressure is doing this. We will make it. I will get some Mrs. Dash.

I bake almost everything. I seldom fry.

I hope your day has been awesome. I hope you are healthy and happy.

I am gonna just be on for a little while, and then i am gonna rest...Early night for me.

    Have a great weekend.
