This is an easy recipe that is healthy too. Have your kids
dip the apples in the sugar cinnamon mixture. Enjoy this anytime of
year.
Halloween Apple Chips
2 large or 3 small apples
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Thinly slice apples. Throw away seeds.
- Mix powdered sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
- Dip apple slices in sugar cinnamon mixture.
- Lay on top of parchment paper. Make only 1 layer of apple slices.
- Bake for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until dry. Make sure to turn apple slices over using tongs, every 45 minutes.
- Cool on a rack and store in ziploc bags.
Note: Your house will smell wonderful while this is baking. This makes a great treat for your child's lunch box.
