Have Your Cake and Meat it Too
user
This recipe really takes the cake ... to
the next level.
Kids tired of the same old, same old at dinner? Surprise them
with a three-layer meat cake -- a culinary delight
covered in mashed potato frosting and glazed with ketchup. YUM!
If you're game serving a hamburger faux-dessert, it's
surprisingly simple to make. Blackwidow Bakery offers step-by-step instructions to
prepare your very own meat cake. Serve this at your
child's next birthday party and your kid will never speak to
you again.

To each their own, but YUCK. *gagging* Think I threw up a little in my mouth. :( It isn't cake if it isn't sweet!

Seeing these photos and reading the article made me laugh so much! I think it is a great idea for April fools for my dad! He likes meatloaf (with ketchup) and mashed potatoes so it is not too much of a loss, but it will make for one funny day! It is not far off from what would be on the plate, I know that I always mixed my mashed potatoes and meatloaf together anyway.

I think it's a great idea for the kids who don't eat anything that looks like real food.
