Jenna’s Menu!

CRAWFORD, TEXAS– In what has been a virtual press black-out the First Family has managed to protect the First Twin from the foul clutches of the Fourth Estate and thereby sending gossip tongues wagging and political pundits conjuring up editorials, op-eds and pure speculation.

Sigh…

All we wanted was the menu!

UPDATE – FROM AN INSIDE SOURCE:

“The Bush’s family chef, who cooks at the ranch and Camp David, makes a mean guacamole and can also sing - prepared all the food. He also performed four solos, including “Ave Maria” and “On the Wings of a Snow White Dove.” A mariachi band played during the service.

Dinner, served inside a large tent decorated in a white-and-gold motif, featured classic Mexican cuisine. After dinner, the tent was transformed for dancing from formal white to a profusion of color, with Mexican decorations made by locals. Nashville-based Super T and His Dance Band provided the music. The father of the bride and his daughter danced to “You Are So Beautiful to Me.

Jenna did not hire a wedding planner. Kenneth Blasingame, the Bush’s interior designer, took care of decorations. An aide who helped plan the inaugurations handled the logistics.

You gotta love it - a singing chef!

I was impressed, too. As the President's daughter she could get a 6-figure job on Wall Street or some other place, but rather she has worked quietly out of the spotlight as a teacher at an inner-city school after spending months in both South Africa and Panama volunteering with AIDS families and children!

What do you give the girl who could have everything? Love!

    Brava! Jenna Bush!

These days it's hard to tell the difference between a chef, a celebrity and a restaurateur. So many actors are now clad in Crocks, critiquing foie gras, sharing family flan recipes or opening Hollywood hot spots.
