party...serve this and enjoy the compliments your guests will
reward you.
"NAKED TURON" ICE CREAM SUNDAE
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup snipped canned jackfruit (nangka) 2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
4 large scoops vanilla ice cream 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cashew nuts
Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in sugar and jackfruit; cook for
about 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Add bananas and cook
until heated through. Remove from heat. Pour sauce over scoops of
vanilla ice cream and top with cashew nuts.
