Saturday I spent part of the Summer Solstice soaking up the sun in Central Park with Dan, reading a travel book I just bought on the Maine Coast. I'm brainstorming ideas for where we should go after our wedding (we're planning to stay in Maine and travel around for our honeymoon). I started to get excited thinking of all the adventures to come with mini road trips to Camden, Acadia National Park, Portland so fun!
I recently discovered the home site, Three Potato Four , which has a mix of vintage finds mixed with cool accessories from designers like Perch and Henry Road . Janet and Stu change up their inventory and collections often, and I always enjoy seeing what's new. I love this print called "Missouri" by Elizabeth Soule that features a toy car on a map of the U.S. The photo captures that innocent spirit of going for a roadtrip. And maps of all kinds have become my new obsession. I'd love to start collecting globes and maps once I have a little more apartment space! This photograph is printed on archival paper with archival ink and it's mounted to a wooden panel so you can plop it on a shelf or mantel or hang it up on a nail in the wall. You can order the print right here . The description of the print says it's perfect for a child's room. Maybe it's the kid in me who loves to explore, but I actually would display this art in my kitchen as a kitschy, nostalgic pick-me-up.
