This recipe is so easy. And the pie that comes out is just
delicious!!!!! I hope you like it. I found it on the
internet(can't remember the site), and I wish to share it with
all the folks on Shine. =)
Preheat oven to 375 F.
9-inch pie crust
3 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup pecans. I personally use more than that.
Beat together all ingredients except for the pecans. Stir in the pecans. Pour it all into the pie shell. Bake 40-50 minutes. When you take it out, it will have puffed up on top. Don't freak out and don't do anything to it. Just let it cool for a bit. The top of the pie will sink and it will look perfectly normal. Stick it in the fridge for a while so it will firm up. Then eat it!
GOOD GOOD PIE!!!! My mom refuses to eat store bought pies since I made a pie from this recipe. LOL.
No, I don't know anything about how many calories it has or carbs or cholesterol or whatever the heck you people worry about. Just enjoy the pie, ok? I usually make a bunch of them around Christmas and give them away as presents.
