User post: Spinach Loaf---Delicious Steak Recipe EASY!!!

Ok, this is the easiest steak recipe other than just grilling one!
Ingredients: 3-Top Round steaks
3-Frozen packages of cut spinach
1-16 oz of bacon
2-3 packets of hollendaise sauce.
1 Containter of grated parmasan cheese

You will also need some toothpicks

GO AHEAD AND PRE-HEAT GRILLE to HOT, or oven to 350....

Marinade the about 4 hours before cooking in your favorite marinade (I use Allegro steak marinade). Completely thaw the frozen spinach before hand.  Also, make the hollendaise sauce according to packet directions during the following process.  2-3 packets is enough depending on how much sauce you want!

After marinading steak and thawing spinache, lay out steaks on some foil or large tray as to prepare   them. Now take the pack of bacon and HALFWAY fry the bacon... DO NOT FULLY COOK bacon! Halfway to three quarters done is suffenient (I three fry mine three quarters done) when you completely fry the whole pack, now place 5-6 slices of bacon on each steak. Follow that by placing about 1/4" thick layer of the spinach on top of that.  Next sprinkle on parmasan cheese until the spinach is white, a good layer on each steak!  now starting at the pointed end of the Top Round Steak, TIGHTLY roll the ingrediants into a roll.  Now take the toothpicks and stab through it on the last flap to hold it all together.  use as many as you need to hold it together, just remember they are in there!

Now place on grill and cook until steak is medium well to well done!  just remember to keep turning over!  I cook mine on a gas grille so it takes about 10-15 mintes!  On a charcoal grille, im unsure.  In the Oven, cook till steak is done!

Now slice the rolls u(LEAVE TOOTHPICKS IN WHILE SLICING, IT HOLDS IT TOGETHER)p and you should have soemthing that looks like a pinwheel of steak, bacon, spinace.  Place on plate (make sure you remove toothpicks in YOUR plate!  now pour the sauce all over it and walla, you have a spinach loaf!, they are soooo good.  Not much count without the sauce.  the grilled spincach is succulent with the suace and bacon, not to mention the tender steak!

Please try this and see how yall like it! email me if you do!  my mom taught me this recipe.  she learned it from a couple on the Outer Banks of North Carolina!!!
