Any dish aside from pasta is also appreciated. By the way, we live in the Philippines so maybe you can provide several options to an item that may be hard to get here.

Report Abuseyou should go to allrecipes.com I use there website all the time to come up with different kinds of meals. You can find pretty much anything there, and if you have certain ingredients in you cupboards or fridge they have a spot where you can type those ingredients in and it will pull up food that you can use to cook that have those ingredients in it. Hopefully this helps good luck with your daughter, that's gotta to be hard

Report AbuseTry a different fruit rather than tomato. Would Tomatillos work or even plum sauce, cut the sweet with a bit of spice. Apricots and pears work well too. It sound weird, but it's yummy if you pair it will the right cheese. Try a brie or soft goat. A red wine vinegar and olive oil sauce is good too. cook it down with a bit of corn flour or a meat base. I made the best lasangna with an artichoke and spinach dip base.

Report AbuseI'm sorry your daughter has developed these food allergies. I am know it is difficult on the whole family...I grew up with a sibling with severe peanute allergy and I have tree fruit allergies myself. So, I wondered if your daughter can eat red peppers? You could roast them and then grind them up in a food processor with olive oil and maybe some other ingredients (cheese, zucchini) whatever you all like and coat the pasta? Good luck.

Report AbuseI love pasta with sauteed greens (swiss chard), a little spice and some grated cheese. Cook the greens and some onion and garlic in olive oil, add spicy sausage or just spice (garlic chili oil)and a bit of chicken broth. Other vegetables like peas or edamame can be added if you like. Serve sprinkled with grated cheese and ground pepper. My kids loved this.

Report Abusemy kids love to have angel hair pasta with a bit of melted butter. stir it in and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. you can also add spices to your taste, but mine like it plain. it can be a side to many meals or by itself with grilled shrimp, chicken, etc. our best to you and your daughter.

In addition to being allergic to tomatoes I'm also allergic to potatos, corn, soybeans, sesame, carrots, celery... and a whole other host of veggies and fruits. The hardest thing when facing these huge amount of food you can no longer eat is trying to find substitutes that you won't grow bored with... both allrecipies.com and epicurious.com have advanced searches where you can search by ingredients, and I found that talking to the allergist and the office workers can sometimes lead to helpful hints and tricks. Another big thing you might want to see is how sensitive she is to tomatoes that are cooked. I can't have raw ones to save my life, but stewed tomatoes (like in a sauce) usually don't upset my stomach.
The other thing that I have found to help lessen the allergic reactions that I have to certain foods is taking supplements. www.naturessunshine.com offers a wide variety of supplements to help your body, and the ones that I personally (and my mother) have seen help our allergies are the intestinal soothe & build, the super orac, the food enzymes, freeze dried acidophilus, and one that's just called "four."
If it sounds like I'm pushing this product, well... yes I am. But I understand very much what your daughter is going through, because i had to face the fact that suddenly I couldn't eat all of these things that are in practically everything you grab off the shelf. Its not easy, its annoying, and it can be very disheartening to have to avoid so many things. Doing research on different supplements that can help your immune system and your digestive system does help, though. And there are tons of blogs out there of people who are going through the same thing. I wish you luck!

You may add a drop of red liquid color, the one that is used for cake icings, or a red berry, and give the concoction the taste of tomato sauce with fresh herbs or dried spices, such as oregano, basil, and thyme. Or you may try to change your daughter´s preferences, introducing her to the italian "pasta in brodo" or pasta in brine, or consome, serving hearty chicken soup, with either very small or very large pasta, or angel hair, with an assort of diced vegetables, croutons (simply cubed and made crusty in a pan over low heat, never fried), and a dollop of cream or red mayo (red colored).

Spagetti-Broccoli-Cauliflower-Carrots-Butter Sauce/Parmesan
Cold Pasta Salad..useing Italian Dressing/add sliced cucumber/
//kinda'//differant..would be mushroom gravy..(Penne Ziti)..maybe w/Meatloaf../
Pasta w/Chicken Broth..carrots..celery/
That's about all I can think of..
Considering tomato's..making a sauce from fresh tomato's..diced and cooked/spiced/add the cooked pasta and serve on a platter with more fresh tomato covering the top--is incrediable.
