What is your favorite martini?

My friend is having a martini party in two weeks and I am in charge of the martini menu. I would LOVE some ideas. My favorite is a Lychee Martini. My second fav is a Godiva Chocolate Martini.

I would also love some ideas for fun garnishes.I plan to garnish the lychee with a swizel stick (is that what they are called??) with a few cherries and a lychee fruit. I haven't decided what to garnish the chocolate martini with, but I am tossing around the idea of a chocolate covered cherry in the bottom of the cup.

What is the best martini you have ever had?

I love apple martinis... your ideas are wonderful. Chocolate martinis are always a hit. You might also try cranberry martinis. They are colorful and also tasty! True martini drinkers like vodka martinis. Have fun!

My fav. is a carmel apple tini. When I oredered one at the Melting Pot it had a green apple slice with drizzeled carmel on it on the glass.

There was also carmel swirled inside the glass. It was the best.

i just recently took a bartending course..o would garnish the chocolate martini, with a chocolate "curls". all you do is you take a chcolate bar and put it on the smooth side up. take a chef knife holding the tip and the handle drag it from front to back in an arch motion making the knife bend a little this will make the little curls that you would find on tirimisu..also people who drink their martinis know their liquor..the most popular gin and vodka martinis are garnished with olives, or onions for a gibson martini..and they are best served in a chilled glass. and i would suggest having water around because you dont wnat your guests to get intoxicated and drive home. and the suggestion is one drink per hour for the body to process the liquor so they dont get intoxicated..

What a fun party!!! You definitely have to have some of the everyday Martinis, like a Cosmo or a lemon drop. But, it is always fun to do a unique take on those, like a raspberry lemon drop (garnish with fresh raspberries and rimmed in colored sugar) and spice up your cosmo by making it with chambord!!!!

    Few more suggestions:

    Mojito Martini

Espresso Martini (delicious with chocolate rim)

    Margarita Martini

Appletini (throw some butterscotch schnapps in there for a caramel apple)

    Pom-tini (pomegranate juice!!!)

Enjoy, and of course, drink responsibly!!! :)

    Your drinks sound good.

Another good garnish for the chocolate martini would be chocolate flavored sugar.

A great martini suggestion is a pineapple upside-cake down martini , recipie as follows:

    1 oz Vanilla Vodka

    2 ozPineapple Juice

    Grenadine for color

shake pineapple juice, vanilla vodka and ice in a tumbler, pour into martini glass. Add a dash of grenadine and a cherry and serve. it actually looks like pineapple upside down cake! enjoy. YUM.

I had a dry martini once and it was the most horrible drink ever! I have not tried any others though and I have heard that some are really nice and sweet. Maybe I will try one on a specila night or something.

my fav is a blood orange martini made with blood orange vodka. It is made by a distillery in california and is not just infused with the flavor but is actually the distilled fruit. They have lots of different flavors and you will taste the difference from the flavored vodkas like stoli orange and absolute manderin

I had a Key Lime martini and OMG it was the most awesome thing I had ever tasted. It was so good and I made such a big deal about it that the bartender was kind enough to give me the recipe.
