SOME KID FAMILY RECIPES WOULD BE NICE. I'M A SINGLE WORKING MOM OF 3 AND I DON'T HAVE THE TIME OR PATIENCE TO FIGHT MY CHILDREN TO TRY SOME OF THESE.

I suggest to mom' out there that you introduce a wide range of foods to children when they are very young. My kids eat all sorts of things most kids would turn their noses up at. I made lot's of different stuff and THEY weeded out what they did'nt like. People are miffed when I say my kids like Brussel Sprouts and Curry. Just a suggestion.

I EXPOSE MY CHILDREN TO SEVERAL TYPES OF FOOD, BUT A VEGETABLE STEW WITH A POACHED EGG ISN'T EVEN APPETIZING TO ME. WHO EATS STEW WITH AN EGG ANYWAY?

I don't even like brussel sprouts and curry. These recipes are way too complicated. I don't like scallions, chicken salad, or poached eggs. My husband would look at me crazy like if I made some of this stuff. I'm all for trying new things, but let's not go too far in left field.

the poached egg soup is actually a take on egg drop soup found in most chinese restaurants. if you whisk the egg as you slowly pour it in it takes on a different texture and becomes quite thin and unlike a poached egg.
