Would you blog about grilled cheese all day?

Danielle, from Los Angeles California, thinks about grilled cheese sandwiches all day long. This makes perfect sense as she writes a blog dedicated to finding the perfect grilled cheese. This past Tuesday Danielle was at the grilled cheese invitational and naturally the sunday before she was exploring the relationship between Kama Sutra and the grilled cheese,

If you've ever wondered how to make a Brooklyn style grilled cheese sandwich, look no further.

    If I was really passionate about it I would. I know I've thought about doing the same for other food or hobbies I enjoy.

    Oh, hell, yes. The grilled cheese really is one of the world's perfect foods, though I think on the whole, I'd rather spend my day blogging about coffee, chocolate, or whatever music happens to strike my fancy at that moment!

    The BEST grilled cheese sandwhich I have ever had (thus far) was at Hog Island Seafood in the Ferry Building,San Francisco. The cheese is from Cow Girl Creamery and it is amazing.

    My mouth is watering now.

    I wanna go back.

    This is unbelievable! Why didn't I think of blogging that? Grilled Cheese is the quintessential comfort food...the one thing (when I was a kid) that made being home with tonsillitis worth while. I now base my ratings of restaurants on whether they serve this...and the fancy 4-cheese and basil grilled cheese sandwich will never stack up to my Mom's plain ol' grilled cheese made in her 30-year-old cast iron frying pan.

    I am a child of the 60's, so when the Reagan office was in effect, we had "gov'ment cheese - the best grilled cheese sandwiches in history.

    The way I did it:

    Two pieces of white bread

    Butter

    Gov'ment cheese

    Heat up one skillet, spread butter on both sides of each piece of bread;

    place bread in skillet until it begins to brown;

    take a slice of cheese - approximately 1/8th inches thick - place atop one slice of bread;

    take other slice of bread and place on top of cheese covered bread;

    flip sandwich once to brown bread

    grab a glass of milk or kool-aid (your choice) and enjoy
