That's right! Sounds weird, huh? But the cardiac cath showed a mild heart attack, with 95% blockage in a major artery. Scary? Not with modern medical miracles. The docs said that it was in the right spot for a little angioplasty and a stint and mom will be good as new in a short amount of time. If that hadn't been the cause, they'd have had bigger problems. So, a heart attack was good! Go figure!!
Dad will get out today and my sisters and I begin our 24 hour shifts caring for him. He has no internet, so I don't know when I'll get back to you! Thanks to everyone for their prayers. Special notes for a few of you I enjoy reading so much: Irish, keep stamping! Rusty, enjoy being back home. Cyndi and Angel, stay strong. Who knows, I might have time to be online before I predict!

Report AbuseTeachergirl, I understand and I am as pleased as I know you are. I had the same procedure 3 years ago and I recovered very quickly and I am fine today. I don't know if you follow Charlie 20's blogs but he posted a prayer the other day that i would like to share with you:
May the Lord support us all the day long
till the shades lengthen and evening comes
and the busy world is hushed and the fever of busy life is over and our work done,
Then in His mercy,may He give us safe lodging and a blessed rest and peace at last!! Amen

We are so far east of talked about landfall and yet today we had really high winds and a severe thunderstorm and heavy rains. Its now gone and the sun is out again.
