Are Religions Prejudice - when faith is not?

user

The following questions are important to answer when we consider how well we treat others.

If I am not Catholic, am I viewed as worthless in the eyes of other Catholics?

If I am not part of the Born Again movement, then will my soul not reach heaven?

If I am not Muslim, is the Holy War waged against me?

If I am not Mormon, will my children's lives be of no value?

If I am not Democrat or Republican, am I not a worthwhile American because I don't take sides?

If I am against abortion but not pro-life, are my views forgotten?

Should I just die away because I am unimportant is the eyes of people who judge me?

What causes people to hate each other? I wish that I understood the hearts of people. I love everyone. I can't help it.  I see goodness in them and don't want to see badness. I think all people should have good intentions. It is a fault that I have, but I refuse to be judgmental. It just isn't in me.

This leaves me very vulnerable and I have experienced harm from others. Do you think we will ever have common beliefs?
