Biggest Loser Club: Burn, baby, burn!

How can you burn off at least 500 calories in half an hour? Ah! You're gonna have to watch this quick video of The Biggest Loser trainer Bob Harper to find out. (But you'll be glad you did!)

Below are three tips from The Biggest Loser trainers on how to get and stay in shape!

  • It's okay to give into cravings. Losing weight and keeping it off means balance, not going without treats for the rest of your life.
  • Use a food journal to track what triggers overeating--stress, a celebration, or being with certain people. Identifying these trigger situations will help you put a stop to them.
  • If you don't have a measuring cup available, use your fist to figure out correct portions. from chicken to vegetables, just about every portion you'll eat is about the size of your fist.

This is the first time i have ever heard of a spinning bike, never seen them either. We have a very small gym in town, and it's in the school, so time is limited too. I just took the radiation treatment to kill my thryoid, way out of control, but I still can't get motivated to work out. It's too soon for synthetics, so I am just dying of being weak. Anyone out there have a work out for me? It's been over a year with this sickness that I haven't been able to do much.

I like this tip. Very simple and straightforward. However, I'm not sure they have this type of bike at my gym? Are all bikes the same? I will be looking for it though and try this out! Also, what level do you have to be on for that 500 calories? Hm....something to think about think about though.

500 calories? Haha, yeah, if you're 300 pounds maybe...I do enjoy spinning and it'll really kick your butt though.

I think the way they abuse the people on Biggest Loser is great! In fact, they should push them more than they do now.
