Breast Cancer Awareness

user

I come from a family with a history of breast cancer. I've lost my mother, three sisters, and a niece to breast cancer.
I just want to urge every woman to not just listen to the advice given about self breast exams and getting mammograms, but to follow that advice. I feel that a lot of younger women feel that the advice does not apply to them. My niece, who was 39 years old, died from breast cancer in June. She left behind two beautiful daughters. Because of her age, she had never had a mammogram, but she also admitted  that she rarely examined her breast.

Do your self-exams, get your mammograms. Early detection saves lives.
