Cold Sore Treatment

Like you, I have been doing lots of research on cold sores and
cold sore treatments because it seems like there should be a good
fix.
Everybody, and I mean everybody, seems to have the same
information to provide. If you get cold sores, you don't care how
many others get them, you JUST WANT THEM TO GO AWAY! so, do, I.
www.surenature.com seems to be the
only place that actually understands the situation. They have a
doctor who apparently wrote the book on blending herbs, probiotics,
and vitamins and their customers seem to like the stuff.

As much as I am for supplements and vitamins, I do not want to take another pill just so I don't get cold sores. Cold sores are caused by the virus herpes simplex -1 and once you get it, you have it forever. The virus just lies dormant in your nerve endings and whenever you are stressed, exposed to UV light, wind, etc. the virus flares up and gives you a nice big fat, fluid-filled blob on your lip.
Wearing chapstick with sunscreen in it has really helped in preventing my cold sores from flaring up. I used to get them every few months. I haven't had one in a couple of years, which is sweet!
If I do get one, the best treatment is ASAP Silver Gel (www.manfullmarket.com). It's a water soluble, odorless, gel that contains 24 ppm silver nanoparticles. It works great on everything. Silver kills viruses and bacteria, and since it's water-soluble, it can even be used on genital herpes outbreaks. I've used it on cold sores, wounds, burns, insect bites, etc. It's the best thing I've seen so far.
Abreva is another good treatment for cold sores. It's pretty expensive, though. I've also rubbed a little bit of aloe leaf on the sores, and although it dried them out really fast, it also turned them black.

I know little about cold sores. are there some informations between canker sores and cold sores?
