Constant Dieter: The Cookie Diet

[Ed. note -- Now that you've met Nicole, the Constant Dieter, dig in as she shares insights and experiences with the diets we all want to try but haven't dug into just yet. Remember this story on how Madonna's hubs was impacted by the Cookie Diet? Now Nicole's trying it out for herself to see if this diet crumbles or caters to her sweet tooth.]

So remember I was dreaming of the ideal diet ? I really love the idea of a diet where I could eat all the things I love and still lose weight.

Well, recently there's been hype about a diet called the Cookie Diet a diet of cookies that are meal replacements. I was interested in trying it, but when I went to the website, I have to say I wasn't impressed by Dr. Segal. He's a little creepy looking! He just seems sketchy. But I went as far as ordering the how-to guide which was sent to my email, but it doesn't really say what's in these magical cookies. It says they're natural, but we all know that that can be loosely defined. But the pictures yum! They actually look delicious. The skeptic in me just can't believe these can help you diet and actually taste good. It just seems impossible!

But I think I'll go ahead and order some just so I can let you know how they are...Stay tuned!

I did the cookie diet through Smart for Life. The cookies were pretty good! It gets you down to only 800 calories a day though, so it's def. not for the faint of heart. I lost about 10 pounds in a month. I don't like it though because you can't work out. You're so starved that you are exhausted. I wanted to work out anyway, and they strongly discouraged me, so I didn't. It was doctor monitored though, so that was nice. Anyway, I don't regret doing it, but it didn't work as well on me as on other people there. I only had 15 pounds to lose though, so I think if you're needing to lose a bunch of weight it works better.
