Do you wear your gym clothes to places other than the gym?
user
Thanks to some very kind public-relations
folks, I'm never at a loss for workout pants. But a pair I love?
Well, that's been a little bit harder to come by. Right now these
Energy flares from Brooks are my favorites. These pants have done
something no other piece of workout apparel has: They've made their
way into my out-of-the-gym wardrobe. I wear them to fly, to hike,
and even to weekend brunches. Don't get me wrong, they're still
fabulous for the gym. They feel super-soft, dry quickly, and they
don't cling to my butt or thighs.
Tell me: What one workout item are you wearing non-stop
lately?

Champion C9 yoga pants from Target. I used to wear them on days when I'd head to the gym straight after class in college. I won't wear them to work because it's inappropriate, but I don't mind going to the store after the gym in them. I don't really put them on when I have no intention of being near the gym though.

It seems to be more of a west coast trend that east coast to wear gym clothes (or clothes similar to it) outside the house or gym. It seems it is not common on the East Coast unless you are running to the 24 drugstore at 11pm on a Wednesday night. Mind you people will wear gym wear in their house but are more likely to put on a pair of jeans going to the store during the day.
I am not saying people on either sides of the country don't flip flop on the idea, but its just my on observation.
