Unfortunately, if you do not tune out the negative voice, you will keep pushing yourself away from feeling strong enough to stop binge eating. When you successfully tune out the negative thought, the voice of victory will shine through. This voice of victory is simply the positive thoughts in your mind. It’s the positive thoughts that help you realize your strength in beating binge eating disorder. It’s also what shows you the importance of living your life to the fullest, instead of only tolerating it.
You must guard your thoughts carefully in order to train yourself to be in tune with the voice of victory. You will need to listen to the things that will help you end binge eating and tune out the things that will only stand in your way.
It’s really easy to fall into the role of victim when times get too difficult and binge eating seems bigger then you are. It feels good when you throw yourself a pity party, but don’t do it. It will only keep you further from reaching your binge-free goals.
Just remember that there is not enough room for positive and negative thoughts to live. If you truly want to overcome binge eating disorder, choose to tune in to positive thoughts and start expecting a bigger and better life!
