How to hunt down an H1N1 swine flu vaccine in your area

As we creep into cold and flu season, much of the buzz this year has been around whether or not to get a swine flu vaccine.

This is a turn from years past, when people lined up at clinics, churches, and pharmacies, frantic to get a seasonal flu shot. The big question then was where to get vaccinated, not if it was important.

While many of us are debating whether or not to have ourselves or our children immunized, doses of the H1N1 swine flu vaccine are slowly being dispersed around the country. Even if you have decided to opt out of the vaccine for now (hopefully, in consultation with your doctor), what if you change your mind? Or what if your circumstances change -- like several coworkers contract it or children at your child's school are diagnosed?

I am not trying to be alarmist -- I don't think that's wise at this point in the pandemic -- and I do recognize that it takes two full weeks for the vaccination to fully protect the patient. But I do think it is a good idea for each of us to know where and when we can get an H1N1 swine flu vaccine if we so choose. It can't hurt to have the the information, after all, no matter how we choose to use it.

This Flu Locator is an easy tool to check where vaccinations are or will be available in your area. Simply click on your state and this governmental site will take you to a page with links detailed information on both H1N1 swine flu and seasonal flu vaccines.

Since I am not a health care worker, am in good health, and am not pregnant, I am not eligible for the first two rounds of vaccines available in my state. But at the end of November, if I can't get the shot from my own doctor, I hope to find a convenient place to be immunized. Until then, I will bookmark the site and check back for updates.

Is the H1N1 swine flu vaccine readily available where you are? Have you had a hard time finding a place to get vaccinated?

This is a link to Dr. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. speaking about autism and vaccines. EVERY parent should watch this.

Swine flu vax is even more worrisome than the regular mercury in vaccines, as most brands will probably contain squalene. Novartis and GSK have squalene-based adjuvants and while N. is still actually waiting approval from the FDA, the government has gone ahead and bought $415 million worth of squalene adjuvant from N. and GSK. Squalene is a neuro-toxin so dangerous Federal Courts have ruled that it cannot be involuntarily given and it has never been used in a massive public vaccination before in the US. The military did use it in an Anthrax vax during the Gulf War, some Drs. feel it is the cause of the supposed "Gulf War Syndrome". So far, I have yet to see any studies showing it actually makes the vaccines more potent, which is the supposed reason for including it. So pretty experimental at this point.

Also, the FDA has so far not completed any safety trials of swine flu vaxes on kids or pregnant women but still has gone ahead to recommend them to the general public.

BTW, here's the full Simpsonwood Memo between the CDC and the Pharma industry Dr. Robert Kennedy, Jr. refers to: http://www.autismhelpforyou.com/HG%20IN%20VACCINES%20-%20Simpsonwood%20-%20Internet%20File.pdf

My personal fav quote: "My gut feeling? It worries me enough. Forgive this personal comment, but I got called out a eight o'clock for an emergency call and my daughter-in-law delivered a son by C-section. Our first male in the line of the next generation, and I DO NOT WANT THAT GRANDSON TO GET A THIMEROSAL CONTAINING VACCINE until we know better what is going on. It will probably take a long time. In the meantime, and I know there are probably implications for this internationally, but in the meantime I think I want that grandson to only be given Thimerosal-free vaccines." Dr. Johnson, pg. 198.

There are SO many great ways to stay healthy and genuinely build your immune system without the risks of vaccines, which have absolutely no effectiveness guarantee anyway.

I clicked on my state to get the information as to where the shots are available; and naturally the state map takes you nowhere and does nothing. It seems as though they want us all to get it. First of all, they dont have enough; which has been documented in news articles. And secondly, when they offer you info on where you may POSSIBLY get it, the informational technology doesn't work. Sounds like America and our so-called wonderful technology; that never seems to work. Hmmmm....
