Last night Jay Leno of the “Tonight Show” was taken to the hospital after he reported he wasn’t feeling good. Jay Leno late nights biggest host not feeling well? His staff reported that he was being kept overnight for observation however he was in good spirits-[reported by TMZ he continued to tell jokes and get a laugh with staff while in the hospital.]
Rumors of food poisoning maybe to blame for hospitalization. However nothing has been confirmed. Jay Leno was admitted to Providence Saint Joseph’s Medical Center on April 22 nd . Reported by spokesman Dick Guttman.
NBC spokeswoman Tracy st. Pierre said quote:
“Jay Leno is doing just fine”
Though they could not state the nature of his illness. Jay will miss the tapings for Thursday and Friday but is expected to return on Monday ready to go. Jay Leno will turn 59 on Tuesday.
Jay Leno has been active in television since 1973 an won an Academy Award in 1995 for “The Late Show with Jay Leno”. However According to Access Hollywood Leno plans to leave “The Tonight Show” after a long journeyed 17 years on May 29, 2009.
