Keep yourself motivated to exercise

user

Even though I've left New Year's in my dust, that doesn't mean that I've forgotten one of the goals I set for myself: Exercise more! Here are some tips to help you get off that couch and into the gym:

1. Take a class.
Actually signing up for a class will help you keep your commitment to yourself. Next semester I plan to take a Capoeria class. (It also makes it more interested when you are learning something new)

2. Find a workout buddy.
Chances are you know someone who also wants to exercise more. My roommate is looking to gain weight, while I am looking to tone up. Our goals are different, but we can depend on each other to keep on track.

3. Get outdoors! Keep it fresh by occasionally exercising outdoors. It's a bit cold in Boston right now, but it's not too cold to take a short jog! Once you get started, you'll be nice and warm.
