Maker's Diet, Days 1-3...

So far so good. Haven't cheated. The only questionable things I've consumed is some lite salad dressing (not too much either), and I had a can of V8 with breakfast this morning. One of the tiny ones. Removing my favorite Diet Dr. Pepper, and carbs of all kinds is a huge step for me, so I'm not sweating these small things too much. The important thing was that little bit of salad dressing was going on a huge bowlful of fresh veggies and lean protein.

The scale can back me up. . .I've lost a little over 3 lbs since starting on Monday. I can't believe it. I'm sure it's just fluid and toxins being released, but I don't care. Less bloat makes you look smaller too. ;)

I'm also starting a gym tomorrow, and I'm really excited. It's actually part of a physical therapy department of a hospital, but it's open to the public. I think I'll feel less self conscious there, as most of the people there will be there for PT. They have a regular pool, and a heated pool, and teach lots of water aerobics classes.
