Also see the cute picture of the balls. You could probably substitute a little rubber ball from the variety store, but the key is to use a softer ball first (the blue squishy one) and work up to the harder ones. Just don't press too hard! If it hurts, back off. Polly says it's good for all sorts of foot injuries, so try it.
On the Band-Aid front: I've figured out that the cloth ones are too strong, the finger ones are brilliant (I even can type when I wear it) and I like the see-through plastic ones because they stay on, don't leak and also show the least.
So wish me luck as I continue to heal and rehab. I have my first big race this weekend in Tampa...St. Anthony's. It's a big field, a competitive group of female athletes and I am just grateful to be there. Not expecting greatness... just gratitude for my healthy body (knock on wood) and a beautiful day.
All best.
