Run for the 'Ritas!

Need the perfect excuse to exercise?  Rewarding yourself with a glass of wine or a beer after working out actually decreases your risk of heart disease more than drinking or exercising alone, according to a study published in the European Heart Journal.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve never needed an excuse to throw back a beer, but this report really encourages me!  Now, I can wait until after I workout to drink my wine, and I can feel doubly good about the whole experience!  Calorie burn?  Check!  Heart Health?  Check!  A Fun Night Out?  Check, check, check!  So, grab your girls, take a run, and end up at your local restaurant for chips, salsa & a Corona.  Your friends, and your heart, will thank you.
