Sleep tight

Chilly nights make for great sleeping weather – unless allergies have you sneezing and wheezing when you should be snoozing. It's an unsettling fact that allergens like pollen, mold spores and dust collect in bedding. Even more disturbing? Dust mites can colonize your bedding by the billions. Forget the monster under your bed. It's the monsters inside your bedding that  are really scary.

Gary Goldberg

Gary Goldberg

CleanRest inventor Gary Goldberg decided to find a solution after his son was diagnosed with asthma triggered by a severe allergy to dust mites. Gary, a third generation textile scientist, developed a fabric called MicronOne. The fabric has an extremely tight weave that blocks anything larger than one micron from passing through.

CleanRest Allergy Free Pillow

CleanRest Allergy Free Pillow

Carolyn B, a friend of Daily Grommet, told us about these CleanRest pillows made with MicronOne. There's no plastic feel, like a lot of allergy-blocking materials, yet the fabric still keeps dust mites and their itchy ilk from penetrating. CleanRest uses hypoallergenic fill in its products, and the fabric is water-resistant and washable. So cuddle in and enjoy a good night's rest, sneeze- and wheeze-free.

I fully agree, it is a blessing for asthmatic and eusonphilia related problems to use these clean rest pillows. Where are they available and what do they cost?

I just read that changing your pillowcase more often, might help to get rid of acne. This product may help too.

Hi anyone. The type of pillow we used at night not only affects our sleeping system but to our health too. I agree with you guys that using an allergy-free-hypoallergenic and keep-out-dust-mites Pillow would help a lot..
