Watch out for hidden MSG and "hydrolized blah blah blah" anything, and HFCS and artificial sweeteners and generally your OK because that stuff spikes your insulin which equals instant fat storage! The closer to natural the more your body can process it rather than store it because that is the food our very genes are accustomed to after millions of years. Your body reacts to all that man-made stff by spiking your insulin which causes fat storage. Even real sugar or even better - honey, is better for you than any of the fake stuff - it can up your insulin too, but at least your body knows what to do with it a little better.

mmmmm frozen grapes. they're in my freezer all the time. i also cut up watermelon so i can just grab it and pluck it into my mouth. if i eat anything during the night, i make sure its a fruit or veggie or fill up with water during dinner to keep me full.

I just can't stop the choc, so I always have some dark chocolate on hand and eat it every day, but try to keep down the sizes and I never feel deprived or wanting. However, one of my secret monkeys--- NutterButters! I just can't stop! That's why I only buy them once every two years!
