Report AbuseHealthy living, I find it to be a choice - just like everything else in life. You either want it or you don't. It's a matter of how bad and how much. People that 'chose' not to eat healthy or exercise make excuses and justify why they 'can't' do either. Ok, if you don't have 'time' to exercise 3 times/week for a 1/2hr - are you also saying you don't have 'time' to cook/eat?? If so, how did you gain weight??? 80% of how you look is what you eat. Fast food, dining out?? Taking care of yourself takes physical as well as mental energy. Aren't you worth it? I've been there, I've made up the excuses. It's time to be real with yourself and be true to yourself! I'm not saying this is an easy task - what I am saying is - we don't gain weight by not eating and exercising - so put down the fork, make healthier choices, one at a time and get moving - 5min at a time.....you'll see changes.

Report AbuseIn May, I had congestive heart failure and spent a week in the hospital. While there, I asked the gp and the cardiologist about drinking water. My mentor is telling me to drink 1 gallon of water a day. You say to drink 64 oz a day.... the dr's said to drink only when thirsty. That drinking all that water tax's the kidneys. I don't know what to believe..... I guess you hydrate the body and flush the kidneys in the process of drinking all that water but the dr's say it over works the kidney's... what say you ?
