The new fat burner on the block...is it in your fridge?
user
Eat this, lose
weight: A
new study out this month from
The British Journal of
Nutrition found that those with the highest concentration of
omega 3 fatty acids in their blood were the lightest, had the
slimmest waists
and the narrowest hip circumference. Three
for three!
There are several theories as to why omega 3s are a dieter's
best friend--perhaps they fight inflammation, perhaps they
stimulate the fullness hormone leptin--but whatever it is,
we're biting! The best source of omega 3s is fatty fish
like salmon, but walnuts and soybeans are also great sources.
Here's a dinner lineup (dessert included) loaded with omega 3s.
The recipes are also low-cal and low-fat.
You can also check out this
slideshow of other fat-burning foods!

Nope. Not in my fridge. I only have a box of cream of wheat and a jar of pickle relish in my fridge. I'm guessing they don't have omega-3 fats. I guess that's okay cause my waist is 23.5 inches and I don't think it'd look good any smaller.

My omega-3 gell capsuls are in the fridge--unfortunately, I keep forgetting about them, so they may stay there forever.

I keep hearing stuff like this. "People who eat such-and-such tend to be thinner." Does it never occur to the scientists conducting these studies that maybe those who consume all that fish oil are thinner because they don't tend to eat Milky Way bars or drink Coke or Mt. Dew or eat Bloomin' Onions at Outback Steakhouse? Somehow I doubt that the Omega 3 fatty acids are going to offset the donuts and French fries. I think what they really mean is "eat the Eskimo diet" or "eat the Mediterranean diet" ... AND NOTHING ELSE.
