The perfect tee to celebrate (or inspire) new summer adventures

Once the weather finally turned and the longest winter in the history of snow shovels skipped right over spring and landed in summer, I began outlining plans to get out of the house more often, move my body with more commitment and maybe even unplug completely for more than two days in a row.

First on my list is to find a morning yoga class since a little om in the workplace can do nothing but good. Second is to sleep more. Third, plan a day hike or two to show some more forest and less concrete jungle to my little boy. Somewhere in there, massages and meditating and tea have a place. The list as a whole, however, is about using this season to re-center on what grows my own well-being.

My list is what also made me fall in love with this tee by Patagonia. While I'm not normally excited to spent more than thirty bucks on a light-weight cotton shirt, this one seems like the kind I'd get so happy to slide on that I'd soon forget about the price tag.

The pretty part of this tee is the tree-sprout design derived from an artist's paper-cutting. The soothing part of this shirt is the slightly-longer, fitted cut and the organic cotton Patagonia swears is "insanely soft." The motivating part of this baby is its name and message: "New Beginnings."

Clearly, a t-shirt isn't usually enough to get you booty out of bed when you're completely exhausted or
to the next level on the old treadmill. But it might just be a comfortable, sweet reminder that your plans and your wellness are worth sticking to this summer.
