So much has been put out on the web referring to the Acai Berry recently. It's not surprising! Once a remarkable food has been found it's human nature to want to share the knowledge.

Acai might just be the perfect food! This wild-harvested, nutrient-packed palmberry from the Amazon Rainforest is the world's healthiest fruit known to date. In addition to giving you a whopping boost of 100% natural energy, this superfood can help improve cardiovascular health, promote a healthy digestive system, reduce cholesterol, increase brain function, decrease the risk of cancer and diminish the signs of aging. Whew! Are you wondering how?

  • Acai pulp contains from 10 to as much as 30 times the anthocyanins found in red wine.
  • The fatty acid proportion of Acai looks like olive oil, which many experts believe might be the contributing element for the low occurrence of heart-related problems in Mediterranean populations.
  • Anthocyanins like ones found in the Acai berry have been found to demonstrate many potential medical effects such as treating fibrocystic disease of the breast and diabetic retinopathy.
  • Acai possesses valuable phytosterols which are parts of plant cell membranes delivering many benefits to the human body, mainly the decrease of blood plasma cholesterol.

I should also mention that it is known in the Rainforest as a type of natural Viagra! Not bad!

Sounds great, but where do you find this great fruit? Good luck finding it in grocery stores. Yes, you might spot a few things here and there like the recent "Brand X" juice I saw that contains Acai. The problem is that there the amount of Acai in the "Brand X"  juice is hardly beneficial. Finding it in a 100% juice form is where it's at!

Jump on this bandwagon! You'll be in the company as other great people like Oprah, Kelly Slater, & Dr. Nicholas Perricone to name a few.

Here's to you!

This is one thing where people have to open up their boundaries. Sometimes we get to tunnel visioned and not recognize great sources are out there. When a friend asked me about the new superfood acai, I had to explain to him I'd been using it as part of my nutrition for years.

He was shocked. I explained to him that because of Brazillian Ju Jitsu, those of us who are into MMA have known about Acai for quite some time.

I highly recommend this sight for good quality acai, and finding out where they can get it at:
