There are good days and there are bad days

I realize I haven't updated you on what specifically I've been eating of late, but that's because my diet hasn't really changed that much. I'm still eating a lot of cereal and egg whites. But I suppose the one thing that haschanged lately is that I'm starting to drift back to bad habits more often that I'd like. I've been pigging out more often, that's for sure. But when I do, at least I've been trying to balance it out by having a good day the following day.

For example:

Yesterday I pigged out. It was raining outside and I was home all day, puttering around...and eating. Picking, noshing and snacking a little all day. That is, until I decided I needed a "real" meal and ordered Chinese food at 9pm. And then somehow ate a candy bar at 10pm. (A candy bar that I had to go out to buy, by the way. I actually got dressed, put on shoes, walked 3 blocks and bought a candy bar.) Gross.

But today I'm trying to make up for my sins by eating small portions of fiber-rich foods, like cereal (as usual) and fruit. And I took an hour-long walk with the dog, and managed to do 100 sit-ups and crunches. I still feel guilty about eating so much yesterday -- and my stomach is still feeling the after effects -- but I am on the mend.

So ultimately it was just one day of slippage and I'm back on track the next day. I don't think that's thatbad, do you? Well, I guess it's not bad if I don't do that very often. I mean, it can't be one day "good"; one day "bad"; one day "good." If anything, I've read it should be one day "bad" and six "good."

Unfortunately, I've been having something closer to one day "bad" and three days "good." It's more often than I'd like, so I have got to stop this growing habit ASAP. I've worked so hard to get to where I am (size 10!) and I don't want it to all go right out the window.

Wish me luck! :)

First of all Yenosbeth, I think your problem is you can't spell, and your diction is atrocious (look the word up}. Instead of going to your new office I think you should go back to "Grammer School".

Hang in there and don't punish yourself for having a bad day, everyone pigs out now and then. Just keep working towards your goal. You'll do great!
