Ladies,
Its time when vanity hit me in a big way yesterday.
I just saw grey's!!!! in my hair that is.....Not a stray one
but reallly a couple. and no I cannot tweeze out all since I
won't be left with any.
So started looking at alternatives
1. Henna(dont want red hair)
2. color(too damaging - might change my mind)
3. herbal /natural remedies.
Have decided to go with the herbal stuff right now.
Will keep you posted about what works.
For those who are interested in herbal stuff to stop greying:
1. Start taking multivitamins with vit B right away.
2. Get yourself checked for iron deficiency - I found out I had it
which contributed to grey hair.
3. Start taking indian gooseberry powder or indian gooseberry in
the raw form - Indian traditional medicine considers it a miracle
fruit.
benefits include: good hair, great skin(no wrinkles due to high vit
C), great for colon stuff, etc etc.
4. Use homeopathic arnica oil and massage with it once a week.
I for one am going to try all of them....

Report AbuseColor can be your best friend when you get to my age (48) and if you did not color you would be almost completely gray. Finding a good colorist is very important at my stage since there is no way I could do this myself. I colored myself for years, but now have highlights put in also so as not to have that all over hard color look. Good Luck

Report AbuseNatural all the way, I started coloring my hair last year (just for fun, no greys yet) and though I liked the colors and the change, it killed my (along with a couple of bad salon experiences). Now, I'm on a hair product fast. I've always used home made conditioners and remedies and they restore your hair much better than store boughts. And you know if you manage your hair and keep it healthy it'll take longer for the greys to come in.
