User post: 3 Ways to Get Pregnant Faster

Are you hoping to have a baby sooner rather than later? These five tips for boosting fertility may help -- plus, here's why you should keep trying to conceive, even in these uncertain economic times!

“History shows that during a recession, birth rates drop as couples delay childbearing," say Tami Quinn and Beth Heller, of Pulling Down the Moon fertility care clinic. "In current times where most women already postpone family planning, medical experts warn of the detriment of delayed pregnancy and urge couples to be aware of their biological clocks.”

They urge women not to let a troubled economy get in the way of fulfilling family-building dreams. Here are their ways to get pregnant faster...

1. Consider a fertility cleanse. Supporting the body’s detoxification organs is critical for women trying to conceive. When not functioning properly, hormone imbalances can cause reproductive turmoil. Learn which foods, eating habits and supplements can aid detoxification and boost fertility.

2. Find your fertile weight. Studies show that optimum weight can enhance fertility; whether over or under weight, body compositions plays a major role in hormonal regulation. Learn about your BMI, how to measure it, what ensures the most successful pregnancy rates and best dietary guidelines for weight lost and gain.

 3. Try yoga for fertility.  Low impact exercise while trying to conceive a baby is a must, as high intensity activities place excess metabolic stress of the body. Low intensity yoga practices, especially those designed specifically to boost fertility, create physical and energetic balance in the reproductive system, relieve depression and anxiety and provide breathing techniques to prepare the body for new life.

To learn more, read 5 Tips for Boosting Your Fertility. And remember: every woman is different - so one of the best ways to get pregnant faster is to get your "woman parts" checked by your doctor. Medical conditions such as endometriosis or polycystic ovary syndrome can affect your chances of conceiving.

I was really hoping I had finally found an article to give me advice to boost my fertility. Hubby and I are currently on meds. to help us conceive and if there was a way to naturally boost that would be fantastic. Oh well.

Thanks, I appreciate your feedback regarding this info not being specific enough! I love writing about fertility, and will keep this in mind for future articles.

Please be careful about your Vitamin A intake (even the topical face creams) as too much vitamin A can cause birth defects!!!!

I agree with some other posts here on the "tips" of this article. The tips are basically to learn about this, and learn about that. Isn't that why we're reading the article, to learn those things!? We don't need an article that says you need to go seek out this information, but doesn't bother to say what that info is.

She could easily have actually included what foods, eating habits and supplements can enhance fertility, and what BMI ensures a healthy pregnancy. This article is virtually useless.
