Weeks 1 and 2 of my looong trek to weight loss...

so it's been a little tough to stay away from the goodies, especially since my birthday was last friday and my brother's is this thursday (happy birthday, little bro!), and he wants me to make my world famous brownies (luckily for me, I only get 1 brownie out of every 4 batches, so theres a very good chance I won't get any out of this one). I haven't weighed myself, but I feel a little more energetic than usual, so I will assume that's a good thing. I have been trying to fit in as much exercise as possible into my day, but between Night school, college enrollment processes, Navy Enrollment processes, and the fact that I'm bashful as all anything when it comes to working out with other people in the area, it gets a little difficult to get much exercise in in a day. I have made myself a deadline for my weight loss goal, which I have determined will be to lose 50 lbs or drop 4 dress sizes: My deadline is my aunt's wedding. My aunt and her boyfriend are planning to get married sometime next year, and she has asked me to be a bridesmaid for the wedding. I agreed, and I currently wear a size 14 dress, and since dress sizes go down and up by 2's, dropping 4 dress sizes is like dropping 8 in my book (a little boost of moral for me, DON'T RUIN IT!!!!), bringing me down to a nice, shapely size 6 dress. Even if I don't get there by my aunt's wedding, However far along I come, I will be proud of myself because I am determined to stick to this diet for me, this blog, and for my future health (I have recently learned that my family has a history of diebetes and other health risks that can shorten my life). Hopefully, I will be able to keep up this upbeat attitude and actually start shrinking! I thank whoever reads this and joins me on this excursion!
