No it's not 3 Men and a Baby.

It's the benefits of Exercise!

Exercise within a 90 minute time, makes a proven scientific difference in your fat metabolism.

As Reuter’s Health recently reported:

"A single bout of exercise helps obese individuals boost their body's fat-burning rate and improves their metabolic health."

In this study, one group of obese women ate a high-calorie meal and did not exercise; and then, the same group of women ate the same meal and then exercised--expending 700 calories, which equaled the amount of calories that they consumed.

Researchers discovered that in the first group, the women's fat-burning rate was reduced after the meal and no exercise; however, in the second session, the women increased the rate of fat-burning and increased the amount of fat that would be turned into muscle when they exercised.

Rock climbing, anyone?

Remarkable is a word too often bandied about, but it's amazing that after only one session of exercise, it's been scientifically proven that the rate of a person's fat metabolism increased.

If only one session was able to show measurable and marked results, imagine what the results would be after more than one session such as 2.5 hours per week.

As a matter of fact, on Tuesday, the new US government physical activity guidelines was released and it recommends 2.5 hours of moderate exercise per week for adults, and 1 hour of play per day for kids.

Adults can substitute 2.5 hours of moderate exercise with 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic physical activity.

What were the findings for older adults?

Exercise for senior citizens also helps the mind as well as the body.

In a recent study published by the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, researchers determined that the most active women did better on cognitive tests.

Therefore, based on these three studies, with 75 minutes of vigorous activity, you can increase your fat metabolism and your mental abilities as well.

So by working out chances are you'll get smarter and lose weight.

The verdict's in, the rest is up to you, because

After all, it's about a healthy lifestyle!
