Report AbuseI have been run/walking every other day for 2 miles. And Carmen Electra's Strip Tease Video. Those streach you out, and slim you down. Plus my ab-slide (that is my favorite thing ever) It works your arms back abs butt. And i have decided not to weigh myself until summer is over, i am not about to stress about the number on the scale. I just want to feel healthy and fit.

Report AbuseAhhh... I love summer. The weather (in Minnesota) beckons me outdoors and the babysitters are plentiful. Once again I have a few sprint triathlons on my schedule so in addition to my three-times-a -week runs, I try to get on my bike once a week and in the pool once a week. If I were serious about training, I would swim and bike more, but truly, it's all I can manage while mothering. Plus, I have become addicted to a barbell strength class at the gym and must (MUST!) get there once a week. If I don't and return after too much time lapses I am sore as all get out. So, to avoid that "starting all over soreness" I'm motivated to keep going. Also, summer is the start of my weekly track workouts with my gal pals. We meet at a track for a little speed work and then sometimes meet up for a beer and bbq tacos afterward. So, let's see: run 3x a week, swim 1x a week, bike 1x a week, strength 1 x a week. What's dropped off the schedule is my beloved yoga. I need it, I want it, but I can't seem to keep in in my life right now...
