Because Some Of Us Are Visual Learners: displaying art

Remember what I said a couple of weeks ago about the usefulness of clothespins? Meg Allan of Threadbanger clearly agrees. In this video, she shows how to incorporate them into an easy-to-update art display system—which really only calls for an old frame, a few lengths of string, and some clips. (For a shortcut version, click here and scroll to the bottom of the post to see how one Blueprint reader used her vintage frame's existing hanging wire to a similar effect.) Meg also gives a helpful overview of the indie art scene, a tour of a creative Threadbanger fan's home, and ideas for making your own art out of recycled educational materials. Watch it, and you will have no further excuse for bare walls, period.
