The luminescent, light-washed interiors from the Hollywood set of Something's Gotta Give have been some of the most requested inspirational interiors for creating a crisp, summer look. The set's design was based on a home in the Hamptons designed by Victoria Hagan—but you don't need professional help to get the style in your own place.

To recreate the large area rug, buy several blue and white striped rugs like this Lighthouse Denim indoor/outdoor rug from Dash & Albert and have them stitched together for a custom fit. $85 each, dashandalbert.com. (Dimensions: 3ft x 5ft)

Victoria Hagan for Target's Perfect Pieces Newport table is an affordable way to bring a bit of Hagan's own touch into your living room. $69.99, target.com.

Slipcovered sofas are the stress-free solution for kids, pets and the stains that inevitably go with them. We like Pottery Barn's Charleston sofa, $1499, potterybarn.com. (Dimensions: 96"W x 36D x 37"H)

The same goes for Crate & Barrel's Bayside chair's relaxed cotton slipcover. $959, crateandbarrel.com. (Dimensions: 32"Wx37"Dx31"H)

I love the look of having furniture away from the walls, but tell me, how to you manage lamps and cords in the middle of the room? I don't see extension cords snaking from the middle of the rooms to the outlets. Do all these rooms have floor outlets?

I love the openess of the room.

The gaping decor. The grandmothered clock.

The color scheme is crisp and practical.

Each room regardless-should be considered "Worth Christening"

A sunken living area-two short steps down-would be interesting

if the floor wasnt completely covered with the rug. I like the rug.

When I buy furniture I usually think about comfort in regards to

    humping or being humped.

A comfy plush movie room can be a fabulous appetizer and

a-must prerequisite to pleasing and fufilling twos' desires.

Great weekends usually include a good hump and a good joycry.

So the next time your at Crate and Barrel think to yourself..

Can we cry together in this loveseat?

PS: Isnt time for Jose Reyes to hit seventh in the Mets lineup?

I mean haven't we seen enough?

PSS: If you marry the wrong person for the right reason-and then

discover the right person is "another" but dont want to come off as someone interested in the "another" for the wrong reason-what do you do?

You dream. You hope. You masterbate.

I've been masterbating for quite sometime now.

    Its an exclusive.

I subject myself to the the trials, the woundedness, the fall.

    Its an unpleasureable neccesity.

But the substitutes keep me from wasting someone elses' time.

Why love someone you dont want to love?

    Why fantasize for another?

So I love myself to love someone else.

    Every night on the night.

I don't want it any other way. I dont want an answer.

I am willing to live with the not knowing than the knowing

    and living.

    Coward.

Can a woman be a coward?

    I'd like to think so.

So I geuss that makes both of us.

One day it will happen for me but-

    probably in "another" life.

I like the living room created by Goldie Hawn's character in the movie with Steve Martin, Housesitter, I think. The whole house was great, but the furniture was especially interesting.
