Products of the Week


+ Birdhouse

Roost is the latest release from Hepper Home, adding diminutive domiciles for birds to their existing lines geared toward dogs and cats. Made from rust-resistant aluminum, the modern birdhouses come in several alluring anodized colors and feature removable sections for easy cleaning.



+Vases

These reproductions from the Teco Art Pottery Collection offer the same designs as the venerated originals, but without the hefty price tag. Available in a wide breadth of vibrant colors and geometric shapes, the vessels are watertight and feature an attractive satin finish.



+Table

Furniture by India Mahdavi, an Iranian designer now based in Paris, recently arrived States-side. The Flower Cocktail Table, below, made of tri-toned, lacquered wood is among the 18 pieces available through Ralph Pucci International.



+Chair

In the 1950s, George Nelson and his New York office produced a series of furniture designs that went on to become mid-century classics, including the Pretzel Chair made of molded plywood. To celebrate Nelson’s 100th birthday Vitra, the Swiss furniture manufacturer, is reissuing the chair in a limited edition of 1000 pieces.



+Vase

Felt is design’s material of the moment, showing up in all manner of furnishings—and in this case, in a vase designed by Brandon Perhacs. The eweTube, made with Merino wool felt, a six-inch high glass tube and black steel fastners, can be used for a solo stem or coupled up for a bouquet.
