I'm a huge pillow fan. Reason being, one can change the look of a room dramatically, just with the switch of a pillow. I like to change mine around with the seasons (welll usually summer and winter). I like lighter fabrics and brighter colors in the summer and the opposite come winter. Lately, perhaps because I've been keeping my eye out for some, I've noticed new ones eveywhere online and thought it would be fun to share a little "summer pillow love". Starting with the ones above from Anthropologie, New Colony pillows, Green Parakeets and Red Parrot.
Above: Pushkar pillows from John Robshaw. Abstract flowers and mirrors give an eastern Asian feel to a room. Below: More John Robshaw , these are his stitched bird series, delicate drawings of birds are stitched onto linen.
Above: Antique german grain sack pillows by Melissa Neufeld. Different grain bags and duplicates, pillows with ruffles and striped piping. Love that black lettering font (the real thing).
From Toast out of the UK comes these gorgeous jute picnic cushions, but great for the floor or deck too I think. The large one rolls out for one to lounge out on.
Andaman pillows from Anthropologie. Handcrafted patchworks of silk and linen-cotton jacquard dressed with lacy embroidery.
From Velocity Art and Design, Furni Oki Log pillows. A great summer cabin accessory. I think I'd buy a stack!
