This hotel is popular not just because of its rooms, but also because of its amazing swimming pool. From any spot in the swimming pool guests can see a gorgeous view of the Mediterranean. It's easy to see why Bridget Bardot, Clark Gable and other Hollywood stars once escaped here and why so many keep returning.

The incredible thing about the swimming pool at this St. Lucia resort is that there isn't just one. When a guest checks into this resort, they can feel safe knowing that they're the only one stepping into the pool. They give each guest an infinity style swimming pool right inside their room. These pools all use gorgeous glass tiles made by hand and give breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. They also base the size of the pool on the size of the room, with the largest pools located in the more expensive rooms.

This California landmark has an amazing view, which is one reason why celebrities and regular people alike flock there every year. This isn't an ordinary pool because it's located right on the roof and gives guests an unbelievable view of Sunset Boulevard. Those who aren't afraid of heights have to see this one just to believe it.
7. Crown Macau Hotel, Macau
Though it's not located on the top floor, the swimming pool at this Macau hotel still offers some incredible views from the 16th floor. They added large plate glass windows that let guests see over the surrounding areas. The infinity shaped swimming pool is 25 meters long and uses underwater music to soothe guests. Additionally guests have the option of ordering freshly made drinks right from the water.
6. Mandalay Bay Hotel, Las Vegas
The swimming pool at this Las Vegas staple is so popular that locals have even started calling it the Mandalay Bay Beach. The hotel has a 4,100 square foot swimming pool complete with a beach made of real sand and a wave pool. The entire complex covers over 11 acres of this bright city and it's common to see locals mingling with the guests. Additionally they have a partially nude beach and nightclub inside the complex, open only to adults.
5. Hotel Gansevoort, Miami
When the designers of this hotel added a 110-foot swimming pool on the roof, they must have known how others would perceive it. Now people come from all over the world just to take a dip. They added palm trees circling the pool to continue the Miami theme, but also added underwater speakers that play music throughout the day. The pool also gives viewers some spectacular sights of the city.
4. Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas
Guests who want to see something different while in Las Vegas should check out the incredible swimming pool at this hotel. In the center of the pool is a 200,000 gallon aquarium with real sharks and fish swimming about. Though guests are kept separate from the wildlife, they still have the chance to feel like they're swimming in the deep ocean. They also have a large waterslide that runs right through the aquarium for those who want to get even closer.
3. San Alfonso Del Mar Resort, Chile
The one reason why the swimming pool at this hotel is so incredible is because it's the biggest one in the world, a fact that even the Guinness Book of World Records can attest to. The pool is over 3,300 feet long and takes over 20 acres of space. They added special heaters that keep the temperature at a warm and suitable degree and added space for guests to try their hand at windsurfing and even boating.
2. Banyan Tree, Seychelles
This fairly small hotel has only 60 villas, but it more than makes up for that in terms of pools. There are over 60 swimming pools on site, with many private to each villa. The hotel also offers a large infinity shaped swimming pool right on the beach and right in front of the hotel. It's incredible because the hotel sits right above the water, giving guests the feeling of swimming in the ocean while safely in the pool.
1. Pangkor Laut Resort, Malaysia
This hotel's swimming pool is incredible because it works with the nearby ocean. The designer created a bright green color to give the pool the same feeling as swimming in the ocean. The designer also added a number of local blooming plants to make guests feel like they're out in the wild. Add to that the fact that guests can swim from the pool to the ocean and back again and guests will know why this place is so special.
