As rumors swirl and the golf star refuses to meet with police investigating his Friday morning car accident, BettyConfidential is searching for answers.

1. Where was Tiger going at 2:30 in the morning? Surely not to the local mall to be first in line for the Black Friday sales…
2. Why have Tiger and his wife, Elin, canceled three interviews with the Florida Highway Patrol who are investigating the accident? If they have nothing to hide, why not speak to authorities?
3. Did Elin change her story of what happened after the accident? TMZ reports that Elin told the first cops on the scene (from Windemere Police Department) that she saw her husband had hit a hydrant and tree and then went back inside the house for a golf club to use to try and get him out of the car, but the website claims she told a very different story to the Florida Highway Patrol. Having seen pictures of the car, which has most of its damage at the front, I don’t understand why she couldn’t have just opened one of the four doors to get to him instead of smashing a window.

4. Did Tiger crash his car because he was distracted by his wife chasing him with a golf club and smashing windows as he tried to drive away? The Windemere police chief stated that Elin shattered the rear window of the car after the accident to get to Tiger, but a spokeswoman for the Highway Patrol says they want to know why both back passenger windows of the Cadillac Escalade were shattered. TMZ reported that Tiger told someone after the crash that his wife started attacking his car with a golf club in a jealous rage over a National Enquirer report that he was cheating on her.
5. Were Tiger’s facial lacerations caused by the accident (as he has stated), or from a domestic dispute with his wife (as TMZ claims Tiger told a friend)? The police reportedly want to see if Tiger’s cuts and bruises to decide if are consistent with the car accident — the airbag reportedly didn’t deploy and there was no blood on the steering wheel.
6. Why has Rachel Uchitel, the woman who reportedly had an affair with Tiger, hired high-powered Hollywood attorney Gloria Allred to represent her? Uchitel has denied the report and claimed that she doesn’t even know the woman who spoke to the Enquirer, despite the tabloid publishing pictures of Uchitel and the woman (a blonde named Ashley Samson) out partying together.

8. Why hasn’t Tiger announced plans to sue the National Enquirer or ask for a retraction if the report about him having an affair isn’t true? Tiger has million of dollars in endorsements — could they be jeopardized by reports of him engaging in immoral behavior? And how can Rachel and Tiger explain photos of her checking into his hotel in Australia. Coincidence? Really? OK, I have one more question: Did Elin sign a prenup?
9. Why didn’t Elin call 911? Tiger says his wife “acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me.” Yet it was a neighbor who called 911, and reported seeing Tiger lying on the ground unconscious in front of his house.
10. Will Tiger appear at his golf tournament later this week? He is scheduled to host the Chevron World Challenge at Thousand Oaks, Calif., from Wednesday, December 2 — Sunday, December 6.
